We receive many questions asking about mold. We offer the following links to information for the benefit of our
patients, friends, and readers. Please be advised that documents from the EPA, CDC, etc. all contain excellent
information. However, in the EPA and CDC's assessment on protecting yourself from toxic mold, especially in the
cleaning of mold from any given surface, both suggest using man-made chemicals such as Chlorox Bleach. Our
stance is "We prefer to use natural cleaning agents rather than chemically based, man-made cleaning agents." Many
people have or develop sensitivities to man-made chemicals. Continued use of such chemicals will, over time, cause
health related problems including allergies and other assorted health problems.

Therefore, we suggest that you read the documents and/or follow the links but consider using natural cleaning agents
in place of chemicals. For instance, Orange TKO has been shown to kill mildew, mold and fungus but is 100%
natural, made from orange peels. It is non-toxic and biodegradable. Further, an air filtration unit such as Pionair
Brand has also been shown to effectively lessen or eliminate airborne mold, mildew and fungus spores.
